AMHERST, Mass. (AP) — Noah Fernandez’s 26 factors helped UMass beat St. Louis 90-81 on Wednesday night time.
Fernandez had seven assists for the Minutemen (10-4). RJ Lewis scored 11 factors and added 5 rebounds. Isaac Kante shot 3-of-6 and 5-of-7 from the free throw line to complete with 11 factors.
Yuri Collins led the Billikens (9-6) with 16 factors and 10 assists. Outspoken Parker added 15 factors for St. Louis. Francis Okoro additionally had 10 factors, two steals and two blocks.
UMass took the lead 8:28 into the primary half and did not relinquish it. The rating was 40-29 at halftime and Fernandez scored 9 factors. Fernandez’s 17-point second half helped UMass shut out the nine-point win.
