Earth, Wind & Fireplace drummer Fred White has died on the age of 67.

Freddie’s brother and bandmate Verdin shared the unhappy information with a number of images on Sunday.

Verdin wrote: “Expensive household mates and followers… Our household is saddened at the moment by the lack of a tremendous and proficient member of the family, our beloved brother Frederick Eugene ‘Freddie’ White.

“He joins our brothers Maurice, Monte and Ronald in heaven and is now drumming with the angels. Baby sponsor, member of EWF ORIGINAL 9, with gold data at 16 years previous. He was the quantity 4 brother within the household line.

“However greater than that at house and past, he was an incredible brother who was at all times humorous and splendidly mischievous. And we may at all times depend on him to show a seemingly unfavorable state of affairs round.”

The reason for demise has not but been revealed.

Fred joined Earth, Wind & Fireplace again in 1974. He was 19 on the time.
