MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — An airline floor crew member working at an Alabama airport died Saturday afternoon in an accident on the facility.
An American Airways/Piedmont Airways worker died in an “industrial accident” round 3 p.m., Montgomery Regional Airport mentioned in an announcement.
“We’re saddened to listen to of the tragic lack of an AA/Piedmont Airways crew member,” airport CEO Wade Davis mentioned in an announcement.
The airport mentioned in a tweet that ordinary operations had resumed at 8:30 p.m., and that the FAA’s investigation into the incident was ongoing.
American Airways didn’t instantly reply to an electronic mail from The Related Press looking for extra info.
