COHOS, New York (NEWS10:) — Cohoes has been awarded practically $400,000 in NYS planning and engineering grants to enhance the city’s water and transportation infrastructure. Each are key parts of the historic neighborhood’s complete Infrastructure Revitalization Initiative.

Plans can be developed to revitalize the streetscape alongside the Saratoga Road (Rt 32) hall from Cohoe Boulevard to Spring Road as a part of the town’s Gateway and Roadway Enchancment Initiative. The undertaking may even contribute to the preliminary engineering research of two environmental initiatives designed to divert stormwater from the mixed sewer system as a part of a multi-year regional initiative to avoid wasting monetary and environmental sources.
