New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the country for the ninth time today during the Corona period. During this, he made a big announcement for the poor people and said that 80 crore poor of the country will now be given free food grains till November under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.
PM Modi said, “Today the government has decided that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will now be carried forward till Deepawali. In this time of pandemic, the government is standing with every need of the poor, as its partner. That is, till November 80 Free food grains will be available in fixed quantity every month to more than crore countrymen.
PM Modi said that last year when the lockdown had to be imposed due to Corona, free ration was arranged for more than 80 crore countrymen for 8 months under the Pradhan Mantri Kalyan Anna Yojana. Giving information, the PM said that this year also this scheme was expanded for May and June. He said that now it will be extended till Diwali.
PM Modi said that in this time of epidemic, the government is standing with every poor as his partner. He said that by November, more than 80 crore people would get free food grains in fixed quantity. He said that the purpose of this is that no poor should sleep hungry.
Government of India will give free vaccine to the states
Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Modi said on Monday that no state government of the country will have to spend anything on the vaccine. He said that till now crores of people of the country have got free vaccine. Now people of 18 years of age will also join it. Only the Government of India will provide free vaccine to all the countrymen.
